#Nda Examinees last minute tips #
Best of luck NDA examinees on Night before Exam :
Tips
Don't study late tonight.
Don't study new topics.
Revise only topics you have earlier read.
Don't study current affairs of November, because questions would have been set in October itself.
Be cool & calm in the exam. Don't panic.
Sectional cutoff expected in Maths 35% out of 300. That is 105marks. 150minutes available to you for 120questions. Every question of 2.50marks and per question time of nearly 1minute. So if you solve 50 questions atleast correctly , you can easily meet the cutoff. To solve 50 questions correctly in given time out of 120 is not a big deal. So focus on only those questions which you can definitely solve. Don't go after tough questions. Don't take unnecessary risks as there is negative marking.
In GAT section 150 questions , 50 each from Science, Social science & English ,you have to solve in 150 minutes. Here you get less than 1 minute per question due to other formalities during exam and also time required in colouring the OMR sheet. But this section requires less time in comparison to Maths where you have to solve the questions to get the answer.
In this section too expected cutoff is 35%. This section is of 600 marks ,every question is of 4 marks . So here atleast you have to secure 210 marks to meet cutoff. To play safe try to solve atleast 65 questions correctly. Because inspite of all calculated risks some questions might be wrong . As there is negative marking only take risks if you are atleast 50%sure.
Reach your examination hall atleast 1hour before commencement of your exam.
Don't forget to take all documents required like admitcard,ID,Photos,Black ball pen etc.
Have trust in your labour . Handle the questions smoothly without taking pressure. Leave tough questions . Don't waste time in them. Be careful in colouring your options.
Believe in almighty . Best of luck to all of you.
