Vocabulary enrichment for different competitive exams and Spoken English 

                        Day 1

1.Aardvark - An insect eating animal from Southern Africa with a long nose and tongue. It is also called antbears. चींटी भालू , literal meaning पृथ्वी का सुअर

2.Aargh - Exclamation used to express strong emotions like fear, anger etc. अरे 

Exp. Get that puppy off the table.

anguish, horror,rage.

3. Aback - to be shocked or surprised by something. 

Exp. He was completely taken aback by your success.

Idiom - Be taken a’back . भौचक्क,पीछे की ओर 

At surprise - अचंभित 

4.Abacus - A frame with small balls which slide along wires. It is used as a toy for counting or as a tool.

गिनतारा, गणना यंत्र।

5.Abalone -  A shell fish that can be eaten and whose shell contains a mother of pearls

मोती का सीप, शंख , समुद्री घोंघा।

Exp. I saw an abalone at the sea shore.
